The Expert for Wood Straight Bit Solid Carbide is designed for a long lifetime of heavy everyday use in delivering splinter-free cuts. The bit is uniquely milled and ground in-house from solidified extra-hard Microteq carbide for high durability and performance in wooden applications. Furthermore, it features a Proteqtion coating that protects it from friction, rust and pitch build-up, which extends the bit’s superior cutting lifetime. The bit is produced using computer-controlled balancing, giving it a high-centricity with perfect rotational symmetry for precision-smooth cuts. It is intended for routing small and very precise grooves in soft and hard solid wood and in wooden composites as well as in special materials like solid surface. They are especially ideal when routing for small diameters such as for slotting and jointing. The Expert for Wood Straight Bit Solid Carbide features a special relief angle that enables effortless plunge cutting.
