They must never be assembled directly in the stainless steel adapter. The cones of the pre-assembly adapters are susceptible to wear and must therefore be inspected at regular intervals to check that they are still true to gauge. We recommend using only seamless, soft-annealed, stainless steel pipes made of 1. 4571 according to DIN 2391 Part 1 or DIN 2462, tolerance class D4/T3.
